Terms of Use – Taqwa Time


These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Taqwa Time mobile application (the “App”), available on iOS and Android.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms.

The App is intended for users of all ages.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Taqwa Time is a Muslim religious application that provides, among other features:

Daily prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha),

Qibla direction using a compass,

Morning and evening supplications (Athkar),

Prayer notifications,

Prayer time calculation based on different methods (including Shafi’i and Hanafi),

Optional GPS-based location to calculate accurate prayer times.

Prayer times are calculated using algorithms based on recognized calculation methods.
Prayer times may vary slightly depending on sources, calculation methods, geographical conditions, and religious authorities.
No absolute accuracy is guaranteed.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.

3. Advertisements (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads).

Advertisements may appear in different formats, including interstitial ads, such as at app launch.

Advertisements are managed and served by third-party providers (Google).
We do not control and are not responsible for the content of the advertisements displayed.

Advertisements may use cookies, advertising identifiers, and similar tracking technologies in accordance with Google’s policies.

Users can remove advertisements by subscribing to a Premium subscription.

4. Premium Subscriptions

The App offers monthly and yearly Premium subscriptions.

The primary benefit of the Premium subscription is the removal of Google AdMob advertisements.

Subscriptions are billed through:

Apple App Store (iOS),

Google Play Store (Android).

Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.

Prices are displayed within the App and may vary depending on the country and platform.

Any free trial, if offered, is subject to the terms of the relevant app store.

Subscriptions can be managed and canceled only through the user’s App Store or Google Play account.

Except where required by law, no refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

After cancellation, Premium features remain active until the end of the paid period, after which advertisements will reappear in the free version.

5. Use of the Application

The App is provided for personal and non-commercial use only.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce the App or its content,

Sell, rent, or commercially exploit the App,

Attempt to bypass payment systems or advertising mechanisms.

You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Data, Location, and Privacy

The App may request access to device location (GPS) to calculate prayer times accurately. Location access is optional.

Certain data (such as preferences and settings) may be stored locally on your device.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.

Data collected through advertising services (Google AdMob) is handled in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, code, and the “Taqwa Time” name and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.

Religious content, including supplications and texts, is provided for respectful personal use.

Any unauthorized use of the App or its content is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Prayer times and religious information are provided for informational purposes only.

We are not responsible for:

Errors or inaccuracies in prayer time calculations,

Differences between calculation methods or religious interpretations,

Temporary or permanent unavailability of the App,

The content of advertisements displayed through Google AdMob.

Use of the App is at your own risk.

9. Cancellation and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

Premium subscriptions may be canceled through Google Play or the App Store.

No refunds are issued for partially used subscription periods unless required by law.

After cancellation, the App will continue to be available in its free, ad-supported version.

10. Changes to the App and the Terms

We may update or modify:

App features,

Advertising systems,

These Terms of Use.

Significant changes may be communicated within the App.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, unless mandatory local laws provide otherwise.
Any dispute will first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution.
